Dr. Hiatt graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and has been practicing at Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital ever since.  Dr. Hiatt’s love of animals began with her involvement at local animal shelters where both her mother and grandmother still volunteer regularly. Professionally, Dr. Hiatt’s interests include soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, and ultrasonography, but she likes to think she specializes in Dachshunds. Dr. Hiatt has two rescue dogs; a dachshund named Jackson and a pitbull named Nina. In her free time, Dr. Hiatt enjoys running marathons, scrapbooking, farmer’s markets, and spending time with her husband and three children, Emily, Dylan, and Declan.
